The Glorious Puppies

Puppy KissKatie and I saw some puppies tonight. They were so so so cute. We are thinking about a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel because we here they make great family dogs as well as apartment dogs. They remind katie and me of smaller cocker spaniels but their snout is a little shorter. I am still trying to get used to it but they kinda look like a boxer mixed with a cocker and the long hair of a golden.

Very beautiful dogs. What do y’all think? Should we stick with a Cocker Spaniel or keepĀ pursuingĀ the Cavaliers?

Here are some photos and video from tonight.

  1. Hey Matt- Patrick and I first saw the King Charles Cavalier Spaniels when we went to Alaska and there was a couple of women walking their sweet, sweet dogs. They were so mild mannered and cute and loved everyone that came up to them that Patrick and I said that if we ever got a dog we would love to have a King Charles Cavalier. Definitely a good choice in my book! Tell Katie Marie hi for me! :)

  2. CUTE PUPPIES!!!!! You know me, I am a sucker for any long curly, hair sweet puppy! I am always for getting a dog, so any sort you purchase I know you will love it. You both love cockers and they look very much like cockers. I WANT ONE!!!!

Happy Birthday Katie! I think you need a puppy for your big day!!!! Just sayin’…..

  3. Puppies are such great practice for a baby :) LOL!!
I was only just pregnant with Ben & didn’t know it when we got Bailey…..
    Happy Brithday!

  4. How cute! I think you should go with the cavalier puppy.

  5. If you are still considering a cavalier, I have 2 of them a 2 yr old ruby and a 1 yr old tri. I have had other breed dogs before, cavaliers are special and the perfect companions. Both my girls have different personalities but are great together, love everyone and are great house dogs. They like short walks but are just as content playing in the yard or inside. I would like one in every color.
